PARAMEDICAL MEAN

DRUG FORM: Capsules.
PHARMACOLOGICAL GROUP: Vasoprotectors, Other capillary stabilizing agents.
COMPOSITION OF CAPSULE: Active substances: extract of buckeye (Aesculus hippocastanum) – 200mg (contains 20% Aescin); hesperidin – 50 mg.
Excipients: magnesium carbonate, sodium lauryl-sulphate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, calcium stearate.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES: It is recommended to use in the form of an additional source of biologically active agents – aescin, hesperidin. The pharmacological efficiency of Neovenol is defined by combination of two extracts which supplement and strengthen action of each other and define complex – venotonous, angioprotective, anti oedema, analgesic effect.
Pharmacologic operation of the extract of buckeye is related to the composition of biologically active agent – aescin, which has an expressed venotonous action. Extract of buckeye raises a tone of venous vessels, improves venous blood circulation and interfere development of thromboses in it. At the same time, reduces conductivity of capillaries’ walls, improves microcirculation, has the expressed anti-inflammatory effect. Esculin stimulates antithrombotic activity of serum, increases production of anti-thrombin in the reticuloendothelial system of vessels. Esculin reduces viscosity of blood. Extract of buckeye slows down ability of blood clotting.
Hesperidin has tonic effect of vessels, increases durability of capillaries, reduces conductivity of their walls, it has an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic, analgetic action, reduces edema, improves rheological indicators of blood and peripheral blood circulation. The effect of Hesperidin is shown gradually, but for long time.
RECOMMENDED USE: IT IS USED IN COMPLEX THERAPY, AS AN AID MEAN: heavy feeling in the lower extremities, edema, avoidance of pain and their prophylaxis;
· Varicose veins;
· Acute and chronic thrombophlebitis;
· At time of post thrombophlebitic syndrome.
It is also used:
· For complex treatment of a hemorrhoids;
· For prophylaxis of hemorrhoids recurrence at time of constipation.
CONTRAINDICATION: Individual intolerance of the separate components of drug, pregnancy, lactation period, serious renal diseases.
SIDE EFFECTS: In rare cases, may occur allergic reactions; possible disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (nausea, dyspepsia, diarrhea).
POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION: It is used in adults over 18 years 1 capsule 2-3 times in a day, during or after meal, with glass of water. Duration of treatment is 1-2 months. Repetition of treatment course is possible for several times within a year.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICINAL PRODUCTS: Concomitant use of the extract of buckeye with indirect coagulant and other antithrombotic drugs, strengthens their action, therefore their use in combination is undesirable.
Nephrotoxic effect can strengthen, when using together with aminoglycoside group antibiotics. At simultaneous use cephalosporins reduces binding to extract of buckeye with plasma proteins.
OVERDOSE: There are no available data. Aggravation of side effects is possible. In case of use in high doses it is necessary to discontinue medicine and carry out symptomatic treatment according to instructions of doctor.
DOSAGE OMISSION: In case of dose omission is not recommended to take double dose of the preparation. The next dose should be taken as soon as possible or accoding to the initial scheme.
INFLUENCE ON CARS AND OTHER VEHICLES: The preparation does not influence on driving cars and other vehicles.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at a temperature no more than 25ºC, in a dark, dry place and keep away from children.
PACKAGE: 10 capsules on pvc/alu blister. 3 blisters in the cartoon box with the application instruqction.
VALIDITY: 3 years.
In case of visual defects and expiry of validity date, the preparation can not be used.
